The project's objective was the design of a new branch for a coffee-snack chain in the city center, with the primary design requirement being a controlled differentiation without losing the connection to the rest of the chain's stores. The elongated proportion of the space led to the linear development of individual uses, which are enclosed within the folding of a marble surface, aiming to provide the customer's main circulation area with an elevated sense of quality and service experience. The remaining surfaces of the store were treated more subtly, hosting the chain's corporate identity. For this specific branch, grey Aliveri marble was selected—a cool material that balances with the chain's pre-selected warm materials (oak, copper, and earthy tones), creating a balanced result. The lighting was divided into two levels: primary and secondary. Linear fixtures of rectangular cross-section (primary lighting) were placed transversely to the linear development of the coffee-snack functions to subconsciously guide the customer through successive stops, while a discreet fixture (secondary lighting) positioned at a lower level highlights the products.
